Meaning of various CAD software available in the market auto CAD, Felix CAD, AutoCAD civil 3D, 3D max, etc. user interface Starting up of CAD, CAD window, Tool bar, Drop down menu, command window, saving the drawing. Introduction of graphic screen.

WCS icon, UCS icon, co-ordinates, drawing limits, ellipse, polygon etc. Editing commands- copy, move, offset, fillet, chamfer, trim, lengthen, working with hatches, fills, dimensioning, text etc.

Planning of Buildings                                                                                         

Principles of planning of residential and public building ( Load bearing and RCC framed structure)

Space requirements and norms for various units of residential and public buildings Rules and Jharkhand State byelaws of building for construction e.g. building line , open spaces , FSI / FAR, headroom, minimum room dimensions.

  LOADS External forces and moments (or couples) acting on a body are called loads. Dead loads, live loads, wind loads, impact loads, seismic loads, snow loads are some of the loads to be considered in the design of a structure. EFFECTS OF LOAD ON A MEMBER 1.
